If Overtale Had Combat Similar To Final Fantasy XV Or Really, Any Of The Final Fantasy Games, I Would Be Really Damn Happy, But what kind of combat system would you all like? I'm Thinking all of you would want bullet board combat, and i think thats already been confirmed, but i wonder how it will work with 4 party members?

Hoping it'll have a mix of something like Final Fantasy with a bullet hell like combat system.

The combat system will have a mix of traditional Final Fantasy and Undertale. However, on the fight button, we don't know what the aiming system will be like. There are quite a few fight aiming systems we seen so far. The traditional swipe system Undertale had, the aim system Undertale yellow had, and the choice system one of the fan battles had. Of course, the Undertale battle system isn't just for Undertale you know. We also have some people implementing Toby Fox's bullethell system into their games, for example, there were rumors of spinmaster also working with a video game company who is going to make a game for one of their reboots coming in 2018. Of course, that's just rumors, speculations, dreams, and stuff that most likely won't happen, just like Infinite Warfare, no Exosuits, but all bunny hopping.

The primary form of engagement in Overtale will be the Bullet Hell style game you all are familiar with. There are other twists of course.

Some twists can even include a dice roll system.

I like some random aspects in games, but I feel like a dice roll systeme in a game like undertale is not going to be good; Maybe only when attacking, to make the genocide route fell more challenging, but random odds in games only work good when the player can modify them and they don't feel arbitrary.

Pretty much for that kind

Imagine if it were the standard bullet board from Undertale, but you had to keep multiple souls alive at once. Then imagine having to do that while fighting someone like Sans. Wouldn't that be "fun"?

Now fighting him with touchscreen controls... All I got to say is good luck.
