If you can beat Sans with ease, beating him without taking a hit is not too much of a step up. Now fighting him with touchscreen controls... All I got to say is good luck. My suggestion, fight him with an Xbox controller, he will be significantly easier. Eh, I used a PS4 controller and it was not the best. I find the keyboard to be easier to use.

Actually, sans is the one boss where I'd say that's definitely not true, unless we were only talking about his first and final attacks. He's practically the reverse of Omega Flowey which is the boss that probably the easiest to use a controller for, and I say that because whereas flowey's attacks are very random and every direction, sans's(?) are more like a platformer to me. (mostly)

eh I've done genocide run 4 times now and sans isn't really hard anymore. still not gonna even bother trying to no hit him thoughIf you can beat Sans with ease, beating him without taking a hit is not too much of a step up. Now fighting him with touchscreen controls... All I got to say is good luck. Eh... it wouldn't be too hard to maybe get it in with 1-3 hits but getting none is always a pain. especially since the one attack that usually screws me up is his final attack.

Sorry to revive yet another thread, but I found this somewhere and thought it would be good to put it here for the sake of specifying. stuff. with. quotes. "The player controls a party of four characters - on a basic level, there's a 4-man party system similar to that of the Persona franchise. Depending on the character being attacked by an enemy, the player will control that character's SOUL. Should the enemy's attack target multiple allies, the player will engage in some interesting and unique new spins on the original Undertale's Bullet Board system we are implementing!" note that was written by the devs over a year ago, so it might of changed, but I'm guessing it shouldn't have.

Hmm, I got a question. It said it's going to be similar to the Persona games, does that mean the camera will move as stuff happens in battle or will it be static?

The camera's definitely gonna move (hopefully in lots of really cool ways). We're still figuring out how to combine the bullet-box-style combat with a more fleshed-out arena than a black void with green lines in the background.

(Yes, we do occasionally answer question, provided they are worded concretely enough so that they can, in fact, be answered. Full disclosure, whenever a questions thread goes unanswered, there's a 90% chance it's just because nobody wants to admit that the point of lore is too obscure to have even been considered by anyone on the team ever.)
