Im curious about how people will act in a Genocide Run. Asriel will be killing his freinds and family. The Heartache song already sounds like a Genocide song for Toriel. My theory is Lucas might be an end-ish boss maybe. I think he joins you after the first area so if you kill everyone he wont join you, but fight you in the end.

I think that all party members won't join Asriel in Genocide, but will actually fight him, but that is just what I think. And I also agree that The Hearthache version B (the one out now) is a genocide Toriel fight, and the comment made on that video stating a Toriel quote only seens to support that theory. Now on how will people react? I have no idea. Just try to imagine that your own son, after 15 'calm' years, start killing people all the sudden without an apparant reason. It's kinda hard to imagine. Anyway, I bet that someone will say something like "If only Frisk knew..." to Asriel in the genocide route. They have to.

As said in dev diary 1, sometimes fighting or acting may be difficult to decide on which is the more merciful choice - I think that the party members might stick around as they could see the 'merciful' side of whatever battles they've faced (though for potential 'innocent' fights, or common enemies, I'm not sure where this logic might apply!)

The froggit near the candy dish room did say you can fight and use mercy from there

Honestly I'm thinking humans might not see Asriel as something intelligent but more of a merciless beast on the genocide run.

Well, seeing as the dev diary stated that sometimes killing may seem like the more merciful option. A part of me thinks that the game may rest in a grey area about these sort of subjects. Undertale took a strong stance against any sort of violence, and If Asriel's character is in any way similar to Dreemurr reborn than that means he may have a strong opposing opinion to violence as well, so I Imagine the sheer shock from his violent acts will grip and confuse all the characters. Like the title for the song Heartache: "Do you even remember who you are?" sounds as if Toriel is pleading with her son to remember the kindness and love someone once showed him. Seems as If a fair share of characters will be shocked and/or pleading desperately with Asriel

What Adameme is saying is fighting will not involve killing. Like that fight with Asgore in Undertale, you might fight until given the choice of "Mercy". Except there won't be Flowey to f*(Language Knyfer, come on)* up the route. Although I am having second thoughts about the way Asriel was acting when the sand monster screwed Lucas and Asriel over, just for McD's chicken nuggets, which I doubt would be in that game. Oh, and eating some forms of meat will most likely not change your LV as long as you didn't kill it.(Yeah, I know what I said, but I'm sure Frisk ate a few glamburgers which were probably vegan versions of actual hamburgers a.k.a. meat and Frisk doesn't know about it)

I'm not sure this is what Adam meant at all. Please refrain from phrasing conjecture as fact.
