Hello! I just joined this forum just to ask something of the devs. I know you're looking for C# coders at the moment and while I am working on some games myself, I have little experience with such an ambitious project as this, so I was asking if it was possible for me and other coders to peek at some of the code you guys have done. Who knows, I might even find myself applying to the crew by the end of the year.
Any kind of code will do for me, even some you don't even use anymore.

Why do you want to see their code before applying?

Why do you want to see their code before applying? Don't get me wrong, I ain't looking to steal this stuff. Even if I wanted to, this kind of project is WAAAYYYYY outta my league. My motivations for this is to see how the devs are structuring their code and how easy do they make it for others to understand (Whether it be via commentating the purpose of the code or by having clear functions for almost everything that leaves nothing to the imagination, etc.) should others be looking at their work. Seeing this "work ethic" is more important to me than the actual code itself. After all, there are tons of ways to code things and not all of them are as easy to understand as others.

I'm afraid we can't give out any of our code to anyone right now. We're going through a restructuring process due to some mishaps with one of our old coders that has left a lot of our existing code unsatisfactory for our needs. We may consider making some aspects of the code such as our movement engine open-source a little later, but that does depend on the coders' wishes rather than those of the wider team, so we'll have to see.

I see. Thank you for your time and good luck with the project! Maybe when I've gained some experience I'll apply to join the team.
