Dr. Chassal? My guess is whoever they are they're going to be tied in with the cognitive dissonance theme..
in the channel description: "Notes: Theme track for a Boss." Assuming from the casting club list they're likely a main character so it's easily possible, and the track name and... 'feel' would be right for a mad scientist, since chances are we wouldn't be fighting Alphys or Sierra... (at least not in pacifist) Then again, maybe this Character was working with Alphys and Sierra...
Edit: for the sake of people that don't know what Cognitive dissonance is and don't feel like searching it up, In psychology, cognitive dissonance is the mental discomfort (psychological stress) experienced by a person who simultaneously holds two or more contradictory beliefs, ideas, or values. The occurrence of cognitive dissonance is consequence of a person's performing an action that contradicts personal beliefs, ideals, and values; and also occurs when confronted with new information that contradicts said beliefs, ideals, and values. sorry for the wall of text... >_>

I agree that Dr.Chassal might be a mad scientist.
As for the lost child though, I think that they might be similar to Frisk and/or Chara, as they where also "lost" children. That, or it's just a lost child that has some kind of influence in the game.

I'd say the lost child has to be someone you would need to help. Maybe saving them will actually be the twist moment whether you go kind, or ignore it and stay cruelly ignorant towards other people's pain. What about dr.Chassel... I have lost track on the little info we already have gotten... so I can't "think" right now :I
