Hi, everyone.
I wanted to start a little discussion topic, but not only on a "Reset" itself, but as well to rumble a bit on the morality presence in this, about the characters that abused that power, and try to finally clarify some things that fans still take differently due to the lack of research, or even simply not concidering to think about it even a bit.
So, here comes the first subtopic:
What thoughts do you have on the so called "Reset" that takes place in the Undertale universe? Share your ideas and conjectures, that you've got on it, as well. How massive is the concequence of one? How right do you think it is, to use this power ? (and here we are talking if Undertale concept was realistic. Otherwise why do we even bother, right?..)
Second thought - what can you say on the basic idea of the presence of a "player" in the game? I will give you a more specific clarification: In some comics or art pieces, people show a player's influence as something mysterious and abstract, either they just mix Frisk/Chara with the "player", and it all seems like a mess of connections of who controlls who. Either, they just forget about it, and put all responsibility on one of the two fallen humans. What do you think is true?
Through out the entire time in the game we could confirm, that Toby does adress someone through the screen with, for example making Sans turn into the screen's side when he makes a joke with Papyrus for the first time in the game. And Frisk quite often as well turns their face into the monitor after some sort of activity is done, as if waiting for the next order.
And also, how fair do you see the point of Flowey being the exact representation of us, when we just loose point into sticking to good, just because of curiosity? I think it is just a really important message here, that not any game have put this way before. Flowey was bored but he couldn't even get away from this world, so he have tried every bad and good thing, eventually letting all other humans fall down here, including us, so can he be judgjed that hard?
Waiting for your wonderful ideas and theories to shine.
