I'm assuming this will be covered in the game, but maybe it won't. Whatever, I just want to talk about it. The very composition of humans and monsters SOULs are different. Monster main characteristic is hope, and they seem to value it very highly (Asgore being willing to kill kids so his people can have hope), and the same way humans tend to value determination very highly (just look at history books, people killed and died for what they believed). This is bound to create some differences in morality between the two races. What Adameme said about "mercy not always being the most merciful choice" could play into this. Imagine this example set in some random fictional world: You defeated an opponent, and there is only 2 things you can do to him. Either mind-control him and enforce your beliefs unto him, or just kill him. If I were to choose, I would kill him, because if I was in his position I would want to die for what I believe is right istead of losing all my freedom. But if a (undertale) monster had to choose, he would most likely choose the mind control, since monster don't value freedom of choice that highly as humans, and being mind controled into believing in something that gives him hope would be preferable, even if it is not what he choose to believe. Any thoughts?

Any thoughts? Well, Monsters will most likely have a similar mindset to eachother as they had only one king, Humans most likely would have different mindsets from eachother because they try to get away from the likes of kings. Chances are, Asgore was a good king to his people so chances are Monsters could be a little less violent, but some can still be more violent than humans and wouldn't come in packs. Undyne actually almost snapped Frisk's neck at one time(remember that date?), Asriel was a killer despite not wanting to be one so his LV can be a little higher, but in this game, the default LV is 1 so, asriel can be given higher hp, just not LV. Muffet would cost you an arm and a leg and if you didn't pay her enough, it'll cost you the rest. Mettaton did try to kill you on multiple occasions Asgore was a murderer obviously. Now one person specifically that I should mention is Sans. Now, you say he was kidding with the player when he said "if she didn't tell that to me, y o u ' d be d e a d w h e r e y o u s t a n d." However, he most likely wasn't joking. When you see Sans going at you with all these attacks, he was still holding back. Infact, chances are, when you spared him when he spared you, he probably had a twitch and killed you. Sans did have a crush on Toriel and most likely, that was his only girl, so why would he give up on an opportunity like that. Technically, Sans isn't a girl magnet, so he's going to keep with that oppurtunity.
