From the powers of the ether, let this thread be, revived!!!!!!!!
Also, does anybody have a recomendation for a good narrative game? I want something new, preferably indie so the chances of I hearing spoilers for it be low. Undertale is out of the list for obvius reasons. Also One Shot. Can anyone give me a good game?

Owlboy's nice. Also check out event [0]- it's a bit different but a neat concept. There're a couple like Fez or Hyper Light Drifter that don't really have narratives, per se, but still feel like that kind of game. Ooh, and Bastion's great if you haven't played it before now.

Don't know if it fits your description, but Night in the woods is a good, story rich, indie game that has only come out recently. I heard people say that it's going to be the next "fandom trash". I haven't finished it yet, but i think it's really good.

I have been playing some games that has been translated to finnish lately, but I cannot fully enjoy them because most basic things like "health points" or "damage" are pretty much cringefest to see in finnish.
Then I wondered, is is cringy to native english speakers to play english games when you actually think about the words used in most basic things?

Do you mean like displays for damage or the letters used to describe in game health or other point based RPG systems?

Do you mean like displays for damage or the letters used to describe in game health or other point based RPG systems? Ingame terms for everything I've never personally had any Issue with things like that. Other than the odd poorly translated game. Words like...."Critical" "Weakness" "Back attack" have always made sense to me as far as English goes. You do get the odd ones like "Item get!" and things like that, but to a casual RPG fan, that's kinda the norm.
